Thing You Missed: AT&T and Comcast Suspends Data Caps To Help Work At Home

Last March to April, Most ISP suspends some of their service fees and data caps. Did you benefit from it? How was your experienced? The COVID-19 is triggering the economic and social shifting that may impact in the long term. Last month,  AT&T and Comaces announce that they are dropping data cap and fees in these difficult times. Many works at home people are enjoying unlimited data for the past few days. 

Motherboard reported last week that the internet service provider giant has suspended its data caps and fees for its customer to help them work from home,  fewer worries.

A response to COVID-19 to help workers, AT&T and Comcast made the good move to help their ISP customers who have been forced to work at home over the Pandemic danger.

 “Many of our AT&T Internet customers already have unlimited home internet access, and we are waiving internet data overage for the remaining customers,” AT&T spokesperson told Motherboard.

When it comes to internet usage, data caps are necessary, especially if you are doing a lot of video conferencing and sending large files of data. 

Some US Senator is pushing the internet service provider to drop data cap as well.
