What does it mean for my plan to have Unlimited Premium Data?

T-Mobile plans for consumers and small businesses that do not throttle data usage include: Go5G Next, Go5G PlusTM, Go5G Business Next, Go5G Business Plus, Magenta® MAX, and Business Unlimited Ultimate. Plans with Unlimited Premium Data differ from most current plans, which are designed for lesser capacity 4G LTE networks—if you use more than 50GB of data in a billing cycle, you may experience a lower network priority across all cellular providers.

What does it mean to be “upgrade ready” every year?

AT&T and Verizon have quietly increased device contracts from two to three years in recent years, with no shorter alternative if you want their best phone rate. Our finest Go5G plans have features that allow you to upgrade whenever you desire. Upgrade as soon as every year with Go5G Next, or every two years (commonly known as "New in Two") with Go5G Plus.

Plus, with Go5G Next, customers only have to pay off half of their phone—and they can still turn it in for a new one in good condition. Assume a buyer purchases a $1,000 smartphone. Once they have paid off half of the loan ($500), the consumer can trade it in for a new phone, and T-Mobile will reimburse the remaining $500. And when it comes time to upgrade, both new and existing Go5G Next subscribers get the same amazing deals.

How do I enroll in the Go5G Next yearly upgrade benefit?

When you activate a voice line on Go5G, you will automatically become eligible for a yearly upgrade. Next, start a new finance account and stay on that agreement for at least six months. When you have paid off half of the phone's cost, simply trade in your smartphone in excellent functioning order, and T-Mobile will cover your remaining device payments up to half of the device's cost. You can also take advantage of any qualified in-market phone deals with your yearly upgrade with Go5G Next. And both new and returning clients receive the same fantastic phone deals.

Are taxes and fees included in Go5G™, Go5G Plus™, and Go5G Next plans?

All taxes, fees, and surcharges are already included in the price of your plan, so you'll never be caught off guard by your bill.

What is Price Lock?

With our Price Lock guarantee, you can rest assured that T-Mobile won't raise the price of your regular monthly rate plan price for talk, text, and data on Go5G Next, Go5G Plus™, Go5G™, Essentials™ Savings, Base Essentials™, Essentials™, Magenta®, Magenta® MAX, 55+, Military, First Responder, Unlimited and Lite Home Internet, and Go5G Business, Business Unlimited plans for as long as you're a T-Mobile customer and keep your plan. You don't have to do anything to take advantage of this—everyone who activates with a qualifying plan after April 28th, 2022 receives Price Lock. In addition, new and existing customers who move to one of our new plans: Go5GTM, Go5G PlusTM, or Go5G Next receive our Price Lock Guarantee.

If I try another plan in the future, can I revert to my prior plan to re-establish Price Lock at my old price?

No. Price Lock applies to the advertised rate plan price for each line on the date of activation, not the initial price paid when the account was opened. Until T-Mobile announces a modification to our pricing promise, the Price Lock Guarantee will continue to apply to the available price of extra lines or qualifying plan changes.

Who qualifies for Price Lock?

Price Lock is available to any new customer on Go5G Next, Go5G PlusTM, Go5GTM, EssentialsTM Savings, Magenta®, MAX, EssentialsTM, Base EssentialsTM, 55+, Military, First Responder, Unlimited and Lite Home Internet, Go5G Business, Go5G Business Next, Business Unlimited Select, Business Unlimited Advanced, Business Unlimited Ultimate, Legacy Business Unlimited, or tablet with unlimited data for as long as you are in good standing with one of those plans. In addition, new and existing customers who migrate to our new Go5GTM, Go5G PlusTM, or Go5G Next plans will receive our Price Lock Guarantee.

Are taxes and fees covered by Price Lock?

T-Mobile has no control over taxes and fees, therefore Price Lock does not apply to them.

Does Price Lock cover promotions or other services?

We will not increase the fee for your unlimited service on your eligible smartphone or tablet, but other parts of your service may change, including:

• Charges that are not under T-Mobile's control, such as taxes and fees, as well as third-party charges.
• Certain promotional offers, bill credits, and future additional lines may not be included; please refer to your rate plan promotion for more information. It does not apply to optional features, non-recurring charges, or supplementary services such as JUMP!. Network management methods will continue to be refined in order to provide the greatest possible experience to all of our customers.

I am already a T-Mobile customer. Can I get Price Lock?

All clients with qualified plans will be covered under our Un-Contract promise until April 27, 2022. Customers who move to our new Go5GTM, Go5G PlusTM, or Go5G Next, Go5G Business, or Go5G Business Next plans are eligible for Price Lock for as long as they are in good standing.
