If you can't connect to the internet all of a sudden, one of many things might be wrong. To find and fix popular Internet connection issues, use the suggestions in this list.

Can't Connect to the Internet Problems and Solution

1. Overlooking the obvious are you? It's easy to lose unplugged or loose network cables, routers, and modems, but one of the most popular reasons you might find yourself unable to connect to the internet unexpectedly. Another explanation of whether you're on a wireless network is simply that the Wi-Fi antenna on the unit has been switched off.

Solution
Make sure your hardware for the wired or wireless network is turned on and connected.

2. False Alarms Rule Out. What may appear to be a network issue connecting to the Internet is often just a website being temporarily offline

Solution
Try visiting various famous websites rather than just one before thinking that your internet connection is unreliable.

3. Avoid problems with IP addresses. If both your machine with another on the system have the same IP address, each of them would not function properly online because of the dispute between them.

Solution
Follow these guidelines for releasing and renewing your IP address to settle an IP dispute. Change your IP to a different number manually if your network uses static IP addresses.

5. Computer Firewall Malfunctions Check. These software firewalls, unfortunately, will malfunction and start blocking legitimate Internet traffic. When two software firewalls are mounted on the same device, such as Windows Firewall plus a third-party product, contention between the two can also block traffic incorrectly.

Solution
If you have recently installed or updated your computer's software firewalls, disable them temporarily to decide if they could be causing Internet connection problems.

6. Are you beyond the range of wireless signals? Wi-Fi network link efficiency depends on the distance from the device to the wireless router. And the farther away a Wi-Fi system is the slower the local connection normally runs until it completely breaks down. The effective range of a Wi-Fi link can also be restricted by wireless signal interference in the region. Whenever you can't hit the connection point, obviously, you can't connect to the Internet, too.

Solution
To test the strength of your wireless signal, use one of these options, and try these ideas to extend the range of your Wi-Fi.

7. Has the configuration for your wireless network changed? When linking, Wi-Fi networks with protection options such as WPA or WEP switched on enable machines to use matching security keys. If anyone alters the access point's encryption keys or passphrase, devices that operated before would suddenly be unable to create sessions and connections to the Internet. Similarly, some computers might not be able to discover it if the access point settings are modified to include using a particular Wi-Fi channel number.

Solution
Confirm that your router's Wi-Fi channel number and encryption keys have not changed recently.
Whether you're sure you've changed your password, but you didn't recall the new one you can change your password again and then upgrade all your devices to use the same password. By logging in to the router, you can do this.
Ignore the provider's directions carefully when using a hotspot.
